  Aitmatov Chingiz Torekulovich is Kyrgyz writer, Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Winner of the Lenin and three State Prizes of the USSR. The outstanding writer was born in December 12, 1928 in the family of a teacher and a party worker. His grandmother exerted a great influence on the work of the great writer. Here he spent all summer months, took part in the nomadic festivities, listening folk songs and tales.   In 1948 Aitmatov graduated from the veterinary college, in 1953 – Agricultural Institute. This time his first works appeared in local magazines and newspapers. In 1956 he entered in the higher literature courses in Moscow; in 1958 he published his novel “Jamila”.
